We are excited to announce Health Equity Fund’s 2023 Nimble Grant Cycle 1 awards! These grants aim to increase health equity by addressing immediate needs of underserved populations in King County.

2023 Cycle 1 Nimble Grants

The following agencies were awarded Nimble Grants of up to $30,000 for programs starting January 1, 2023:

Seattle Veterinary Outreach

Project: Social Service Resource Navigation Expansion

SVO is expanding their social service resource navigation capacity. This will improve follow up with clients in order to ensure that people living homeless in King County, WA can access basic needs.

Washington West African Center

Project: Procurement and Operation of a Community Services Van

WAWAC will purchase a community van to provide transportation for their community members to medical appointments, health outreach and education services, and food distribution.

Wonderland Child & Family Services

Project: Expanding Access and Availability of Prenatal Substance Exposure Interventions

Wonderland will use Nimble Grant funds for a legislative initiative in 2023 that would increase access and availability for children in the Puget Sound to receive assessment and targeted interventions for prenatal substance exposure.
