Privacy Policy

Pacific Hospital Preservation & Development Authority (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates www.phpda.org (the “Site”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information, defined herein, we receive from users of the Site.

We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the Site and for guidance for delivery of our message and work. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.


INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, email address, and phone number (“Personal Information”). This information is provided voluntarily by you and will be used to add your contact information to the PHPDA email list. This list and information is only accessible to certain PHPDA communications employees and will not be shared with any unaffiliated business or individual, other than as may be required by law. We may use your Personal Information in order to send you emails or contact you in response to a form or inquiry you submitted but will not use it in any other manner.

 

PUBLIC ACCESS TO INFORMATION

If you provide the PHPDA with Personal Information, state law and federal law may protect it. However, all information is a public record once you provide it and may be subject to public inspection and copying pursuant to Washington State’s Public Records Act, Chapter 42.56 RCW, unless an exception to disclosure exists. See RCW 42.56.070(1). In Washington State, laws exist to ensure that government is open and that the public has a right to access appropriate records. At the same time, there are exceptions to the public’s right to access records that serve various needs, including protecting the privacy of individuals. Applicable exceptions to disclosure may be located in either state or federal law.

In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Notice and the Public Records Act or any other law governing PHPDA’s disclosure of records, the Public Records Act or other applicable law will control.

Users are cautioned that the collection of Personal Information volunteered by children will be treated the same as information given by an adult, and may be subject to public access.

LOG DATA

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”).

This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze this data.
