2023 Cycle 3 Nimble Grants
The following agencies were awarded Nimble Grants of up to $30,000 for programs starting in October 2023:
Hepatitis Education Project
Project: Hepatitis B Targeted Vaccination for Equity
Increasing vaccination coverage rates amongst population groups at highest risk of Hepatitis B infection.
International Community Health Services
Project: Bellevue School Access Project
ICHS will expand mobile services at partner schools in the Bellevue School District.
King County Play Equity Coalition
KCPEC will conduct a series of trauma-informed and anti-racism trainings to youth sports coaches and outdoor recreation instructors across King County.
KinOn
Project: Health Education for Low-Income Seniors
Equip low-income Asian seniors to age successfully and reduce stress, physical decline, and medical & legal challenges through the Aging Mastery Program.
Northwest Health Law Advocates
Project: Advocating for Equity and Community Engagement as New Immigrant Health Programs Launch
NoHLA will advocate for equitable implementation of WA’s new undocumented immigrant health programs launching in 2024, offering King Co. communities training and tools to participate in shaping the programs.
Sound Generations
Project: Reducing Falls in King County
This project seeks to meet the demand for effective fall prevention program training and workshops from partner organizations serving older adults in King Co. communities.
The International Medical Graduates Academy
TIMGA will advocate and prepare a presentation for state legislators during the 2024 WA Legislative session to inform the development of a state-wide Hardship Waiver.
RECLAIM (formerly University Beyond Bars)
Project: Expanding Mental Health Access for System-Impacted Individuals and Family Members
RECLAIM will shift the mental health disparities of formerly incarcerated members by piloting three projects that offer free services to individuals who have been released from prison and for their loved ones.
